BELLBOY He and Flowerchild were founding members of the Psychic Circus who tried to escape. Bellboy was the master robot-builder who had designed the Bus Conductor and the robotic clowns. He was recaptured by the Chief Clown and later killed by his own robots (7J).

BUS CONDUCTOR Murderous robot designed by Bellboy. It guarded the original hippy bus which took the Psychic Circus to Segonax and the Gods of Ragnarok's medallion which cured Kingpin. It was first disabled by the Seventh Doctor, and later destroyed by Ace (7J).

CHIEF CLOWN Evil henchman of the Gods of Ragnarok who controlled the Psychic Circus with the help of the deadly robotic clowns designed by Bellboy. He fought the Seventh Doctor and was eventually killed by one of Bellboy's rogue robots while battling Ace and Kingpin (7J).

CINETHON Planet visited by the Psychic Circus before it went to Segonax (7J).

CIRCUSES The Master rematerialized in Rossini's International Circus before preparing to face the Third Doctor (EEE). The Gods of Ragnarok had taken over the Psychic Circus on Segonax (7J).

COOK (CAPTAIN) Boastful and untrustworthy space explorer. He came to the Psychic Circus to compete in a talent contest with his protege, Mags, who turned out to be a werewolf. In reality, he was trying to make a deal with the Gods of Ragnarok. He was killed by Mags as he was trying to force her to murder the Seventh Doctor. His body was briefly reanimated by the Gods of Ragnarok to prevent Ace and Mags from helping the Doctor (7J).

MAGS She was the protege of Captain Cook, who had found her on Vulpana, and one of the contestants in the talent contest organized by the Psychic Circus to entertain the Gods of Ragnarok. Mags turned out to be a werewolf. The Seventh Doctor helped her rebel against the Captain, whom she killed. Afterwards, she stayed with Kingpin to launch a new circus (7J).

On the planet Segonax, it was taken over by the Gods of Ragnarok, who used it to fill their unholy craving for entertainment. It was held in a grip of fear by the evil Chief Clown and his robotic clowns, which had been designed by Bellboy. Its founder, Kingpin, had become a brain damaged labourer called Deadbeat. The Psychic Circus was rescued by the Seventh Doctor and Ace, who defeated the Gods of Ragnarok. A cured Kingpin planned to launch a new circus with Mags (7J).

RAGNAROK, GODS OF Three mysterious, powerful entities from the planet Segonax who took control of the Psychic Circus and used it to fill their unholy craving for entertainment. They controlled the Circus under the avatar of a human family (Dad, Mum and the Little Girl), and through the evil Chief Clown and its deadly robotic clowns. The Seventh Doctor defeated them by turning their own power against them with the help of the Gods' medallion (7J).

RINGMASTER Founding member of the Psychic Circus. He was weakly following the Chief Clown's orders. He and Morgana were eventually sacrificed to the Gods of Ragnarok by the Chief Clown (7J).

SEGONAX Planet where the Psychic Circus was located. The Seventh Doctor defeated the Gods of Ragnarok there (7J).

STALLHOLDER Unnamed merchant who welcomed the Seventh Doctor and Ace to Segonax (7J).
